Ellen Degeneres tells her best joke yet – starting her own record label just to sign Greyson Chance.  The 12-year-old has over 20 million views on YouTube less than a month after uploading his cover of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi.”  Don’t get me wrong, this could work… Greyson Chance has some wicked pipes, and Ellen has a lot of money.  But when it comes to music, Ellen is clueless.

Greyson should have waited another month and signed with someone who has some clout – or better yet – he could have done the whole thing indie.  He had a platform in his YouTube audience, and now all he needed was a product.  Instead, he got a binding contract with a comedian.  Good luck buddy!
